AWC members are now playing Pickleball on Thursday mornings at the Sporthal Houtrust except for the second Thursday of the month. Season will run from Jan. 20-April 28 (12 sessions). Please note: There will be no Pickleball on May 5 (Liberation Day, gym closed).
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the USA and is exploding in popularity internationally. It combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. It is played with a paddle and light ball on a badminton sized court.
All skill levels are welcome and no previous playing experience is necessary. We invite anyone who is interested in trying Pickleball to join us on a Thursday at the courts for a trial session. Please send an email to Sarah Partridge at activities@awcthehague.org if you're interested.
Minimum Number of Participants: 8 or 12 (if fewer than 12, then pricing may be slightly adjusted to cover the court rental fee or season shortened to 10 sessions)
