AWC Member Liduine Bekman is inviting all fellow AWC Members and their guests to the opening reception of her surrealist watercolor paintings on February 19 at Pulchri Studios in The Hague. The exhibition will continue daily (closed on Mondays) through March 15 from Noon until 5 p.m.
You might remember Liduine's beautiful paintings of underwater creatures on the walls of the AWC before the pandemic. When she lived in the Bahamas, a local man showed her the place on Providence Island where the slaves arrived in the olden days. At the time, it made a big impression on her, and she knew that someday it would be inspiration for a new series of paintings, some of which will be included in this show. Out to Lunch Bunch on March 9 will be at the Pulchri Studio with the viewing of Liduine's paintings afterwards, so please RSVP on that calendar date if you'd like to attend. Lunch is at own expense, exhibition is free.
