Dinners at Home is back by popular demand! This is a fun opportunity to share a home-cooked dinner with other AWC friends at the house of a fellow member. Participants can choose to act as the hostess of the evening, or to be guests bringing one of the courses for the meal.
The first Dinners at Home will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Registration deadline is Friday, September 16.
To register for this first dinner, please sign up on Wild Apricot or contact Carol Slootweg with the following information:
(i) would you like to be a hostess, and if so, how many people can you accommodate, or
(ii) would you like to be a guest, either alone or with a spouse/friend?
Following the registration deadline, Carol will randomly assign dinner quests for each hostess, and will notify everyone where they will be dining. After this, each hostess will plan her own dinner and tell her guests the details of time, place, and the courses for that evening. Typically, the hostess provides the main course while others can offer to bring an appetizer, vegetable, salad or dessert with appropriate beverage of choice for that course. Persons with dietary restrictions should plan on contributing a dish they can eat and share with others.
