Join Bloom! for a fabulous House Plant Swap Party! Come and exchange house plants in a fun and exciting way, and mingle with other AWC plant enthusiasts! We will conduct the swap party like a holiday gift exchange: That is, for every plant you bring, you may draw a number from the bowl. When your number is called, you may select a plant from the table, or – even better – you may “steal” that gorgeous plant from someone else! (That same plant may be stolen only twice, though!)
To keep it equitable, a few rules apply:
1. Potted house plants only and ready for immediate home display. (For ceramic pots, no obvious chips or cracks, please. Don’t have a pot? Be sustainable and support your local kringloop; ceramic pots can cost only 1-3 euros. If your pot has holes in the bottom, please provide the matching saucer.)
2. Pots no shorter than 4 inches/10 centimeters high; or, go as big as you dare!
3. Only healthy, pest-free plants.
4. Do not water your plants the day of the event.
5. If possible, know the name of your plant (labels provided).
6. Maximum 2 plants per person.
