Kenyan Guided Dinner & Wine Pairing

Gather around and experience delicious Kenyan cooking combined with a wine pairing! Featuring some of the most flavorful and bold dishes from the heart of East Africa, Betty Bifowli will take us on a culinary journey to learn how African, Indian, and Arab influences set Kenyan food apart from other African cuisines. Its use of spices, herbs and tropical ingredients, combined with its rich cultural heritage, makes it a culinary experience like no other. As with most intensely seasoned dishes, you need a wine that can hold its own and we've taken expert advice on sourcing these for you to savor.

Although she now lives in the Netherlands, Betty is also a lawyer and Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She is passionate about empowering her countrywomen to own property in Kenya. Her credo is ‘When you empower women, you empower the nation.’

Please join us for this unique evening of Kenyan Delicacies that empowers women in the slums of Nairobi through the Awesome Blossom Project. Your donation will ensure that women and girls in Kenya have sustainable produce.

Partners welcome!

Cost: EUR 50 includes a 3-course tasting menu & wine pairing, and a donation to FAWCO's Awesome Blossoms Project

If you prefer soft drinks and/or beer, please bring your own.
