KNRM Search and Rescue Visit
The Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue Society helps and saves people in distress on the water. The KNRM has 45 rescue stations along the coast. The 75 rescue boats are manned by 1,500 volunteers. The KNRM takes action more than 2,500 times a year for emergency reports, helping or saving more than 4,000 people.
Learn more about this organization with a visit to their rescue center in Scheveningen Harbor. During this visit we will get a tour of their center (it's a two-story building, you must be able to walk up/down stairs), tour their rescue boat, and hear stories from volunteers.
