An historic walk through Royal The Hague
by Monique Varma
The walk, lasting 1,5 hrs will begin in the “Plein”. In the centre of the Plein, bordered by linden trees, there is a bronze statue of Prince Willem I. This is where we will meet. The Hague is more than just the Royal Residence and Seat of the government: seven centuries of Hague architecture, Palaces and far humbler dwellings (Hofje!), monuments and statues and the most beautiful avenue in Europe wait for us to be discovered! Our journey ends again at the Plein.
Please wear sensible shoes so that you can relax and really enjoy this walk.
